GSD, IRCCS Polyclinic San Donato Research Hospital & Bambini Cardiopatici Nel Mondo have been collaborating with the Dakar Fann University Hospital Cardio-Vascular Department since 2009 and carried out numerous surgical missions.
Children's well-being in the first place
In particular, GSD, IRCCS Polyclinic San Donato Research Hospital and Bambini Cardiopatici Nel Mondo have entered into partnerships with la Chaine De L’espoir and the Cuomo Foundation to create a new Paediatric Cardiac Centre that was inaugurated January 2017. The centre will see the IRCCS Polyclinic San Donato Research Hospital & Bambini Cardiopatici Nel Mondo carrying out 4 surgical mission per annum and providing training programmes for medical and paramedical personnel in the form of scholarships to study abroad as well as the provision of educational and training programmes during clinical activities in situ.
